My bio

I've been involved in photography for close on 20 years. I completed a formal National Diploma at the now Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 1992 after wich I entered the realms of Photojournalism working for leading publications in the Northern Cape and Gauteng. Photojournalsim had povided me with a front row seat to events in our ever changing democracy and has given me the opportunity to visit and explore our wonderfull continent of Africa. I have also a award winning Photographer and was awarded numerous Awards for Photography among them Fuji, Photo Press awards, Mondi Shanduka Photographer of the year as well as the Vodacom photographer of the year. My work has been published in magazines, newspapers and online publications over the years, among these are Paris Match, Der Spiegel as well as Time Magazine to mention a few. I managed some big projects over the years one of them being Sony Corporations Soccography, a coffee table book of images taken by leading SA photographers leading up to the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa. I have been persuing the visual arts for more that two decades which brings me to one of my passions, events and events photography/videography and Sound.

As a company we aim to combine the classic style of wedding photography with the acute eye of a news photojournalis from my photojournalism we have expanded the buisness to include videography with post production editing on final cut as well as sound and lighting (JBL Pro, Shure Mic's and Chauvet Lighting and stage hire) for events and functions thus being able to offer an inclusive package to clients at an affordable cost.
